Don't be satisfied by a tonal alert when your motion sensor is tripped. Whether you're awaiting visitors or deliveries or are seeking security for your home, swimming pool or construction site, the Reporter w/Voice alert system combines a wireless motion sensor with a built-in speaker that lets you talk with the person on the sensor's end, up to 1000 feet away, through a digitally clear and secure connection. The sensor is made of UV-hardened waterproof plastic that protects housing from deterioration. When movement is detected, an alert is sounded at the base station, which will allow you to listen through the sensor's wireless microphone for 10 seconds. You may also talk to the person on the sensor's end by pressing TALK on the base.

Both the sensor and base have relays, which can activate other electrical devices, such as louder alarm bells, lights or cameras (sold separately). The base station can work with up to eight sensors, each with a distinct tone to distinguish it from the others. These additional sensors are sold separately 70-6001. The sensor runs on four AA batteries, and the base unit also requires four AA batteries for power backup in the event of a power outage. Batteries are sold separately. Extra receivers 70-6002 are also available for use in other areas of your home.
